Kenwood Battery Update

I've had a pretty busy and productive month. The support for the Kenwood batteries have been overwhelming and I wanted to thank you for the support.

An update for you, the Kenwood batteries will start shipping the week of the April 28th.

It is further than the original window I had planned so I apologize for the delay. I kept making tweaks to make this battery as good as I can make it and I'm happy with the current design.

A truly fantastic power upgrade

We've all heard the battery life issues with the D75A. This solves them. Ran a full day with everything on including GPS and APRS. Love it.

Yeasu FT5 5Ah Battery

I am very happy with the 5Ah battery for my FT5. Extremely pleased with the run time on the HT over stock battery and recharge time is quick. Using a USB-C cable is so convenient. The radio with the battery fits my hand better and no fear of the radio tipping over. It is definitely a game changer and makes the radio more fun to use not worrying about making the next transmission.

This battery pack is significantly better than what is shipped with the Kenwood. 6 hours of APRS and FM and I still have battery power. Just get one, you will not regret it.

Light battery, big performance

I have tested this with a few radios at 5-20w, and got great results. Very quiet, does its job. Good value even though I paid the non-sale price.
