I love the batteries! I have one for my Yaesu Ft5d and one for my Yaesu FT70. The USB-C fast charging is fantastic and is exactly what I needed for my new truck without any 12v outlets, only usb-c and usb-a. I had a couple of suggestions for the battery case and Kevin printed them with the mods and sent me new cases! You can't beat the customer service! Highly recommend anything he makes.
Had some hiccups with the initial battery that Kevin sent to me, but he was right on it and made everything right. Probably the best customer service I've seen.
The new battery fit perfectly and goes in place with a very satisfying snap. It keeps me on the air all day! Thanks!!!
It does everything it’s advertised to do. Great capacity, love the USB C charging, and I like the fact that I can replace the battery pack myself when it eventually needs it.
The desk cradle is very well made and works well. I'm glad I added this when I ordered.
the battery for my yaesu ft5dr and charger works great. Next purchase will be the same battery system but for my kenwood d74
Did a test using APRS and GPS, and the battery was down to only 60% after 10 hours of use. My complaints is the the connectors are stiff, so you need to be careful connecting and disconnecting the battery pack. Installing the belt clip is difficult because opening the case requires patience. Do not pry too much or you’ll risk cracking the case. Get a nylon wedge to help open the case, and not a metal screwdriver. This radio is heavy with the battery, so if you plan on putting it on your belt, use a thick belt. If you love APRS and GPS, then this battery is a must.
I have both the FT 3D and the FT 70 batteries Great quality. I look forward to see what other batteries will come out.
I love my FT 70 but have always had to make sure I had a spare battery with me. The original battery won't last the day. Your battery is Awesome. I can easily get a couple of days out of it and it charges quickly. The usb charging is a plus as well. Highly recommended!
I like the function of this charger, Would like to see if it could charge multiple other portable radios that has a usb c charging capabilities. Other than that I like it. Along with the W0AEZ BP-Y14L V6 battery

Love the cradle, love the angle that the radio sits it it, makes it real easy to run my digital nets with a microphone connected tot the radio.
I really appreciate not only the long lasting charge on this battery (almost 48 hours of continuous monitoring, APRS beaconing, and occasional TX), but the USB-C charging makes this perfect for travel and even off-grid situations.
