This is exactly that the D74 & D75 needed. I have both, but I leave the BP-K75L v2 on the D74 exclusively. I only have two recommendations for improvements. One, there is no way to see the status of the charging LED when the battery is mounted on the radio. To solve this, I drilled a small hole in the battery case at the lower back where the LED could be viewed. To keep water and other contaniments out, I glued a small piece of clear rubber toggle switch lever cover into the hole. It works great. These can be obtained on Amazon in a pack that was several colors including clear. Second, The bottom latch of the battery seemed to be a little loose in securing the battery to the radio. I solved this by placing two small pieces of black rubber on the opposite end of the latch. It’s secure not and there is no unnecessary pressure on the latch. My suggestion would be to give the part of the latch that secures to the radio a little more length so that it seal is tighter. Otherwise, I love the battery. 73. KC5YMC

A must have!
Previously, my HT would eat through my battery like a feral dog. Now I have extremely long battery life. I can’t imagine going back to the OEM battery!

Great battery
The battery is well made and it will increase your radio time from a day to about 3 days. Works really well. Fit is good too. And the usb c charging is a fast charge. Only about 2 hrs. I now carry the radio and don’t worry about it going dead. I showed a few radio club members and they also purchased a few. Great guarantee and good seller. Being that this is custom made it takes a while for shipping. Be patient. The wait is well worth it.

Extended Life Battery For FT70
I have used this battery for about 2 months now.It is an excellent upgrade from the factory lithium ion battery. I have been able to go three days on a charge compared to barely one day with the Yaesu factory battery.
The build is excellent quality. It fits in the radio like it’s a factory battery. The charge speed with USB is much faster than plugging in the factory charger cord to the radio. I highly recommend this battery for your Yaesu FT70. I would definitely buy another.

The BP-Y24L is the perfect power source for my FT70. It's my favorite handheld, and more so now that I'm not likely to run out of power. As a bonus, the battery improves my grip on the radio! Thanks for the innovation and the upgrades to come.

Great Addition
The OEM battery would not last but 4 hours or so. The BP-K75Lv2 lasts a good 12 hours. Made the radio, TH-D75 useful for PS events and ARES without having to carry spare battery.

Extended Batteries work great so far
Purchased Qty (2) BP-K75L v2 Extended Batteries. Need to pay attention to instructions when connecting the Batt to the TH-D7X handheld radio, else you will think they don't fit when in fact they fit perfectly. Slow down and read!

Makes my D75 useful all day, instead of having to change batteries twice a day.
Battery fits fine. Video really helped with getting battery lined up and locked in place. Absolutely would purchase this battery again (if someone took it from me). Charging is convenient as can be with the USB-C port on battery. The belt clip spacer and hardware help the battery integrate with the HT perfectly for belt carry. Holding the D75 with this battery attached actually fits my hand better.
