You Definitely Need One Of These!
Been a Yeasu fan for years and love their HTs but their batteries suck! Sold my D70 after my 4th battery died. And when they were working they didn't last long. Had a FT2, FT3 and now an FT5. They all use the same battery and they just won't last. I own 2 of W0AEZ's batteries and highly recommend them! I am getting about 24-26 hours to a charge as opposed to 6-8 hrs with the Yaesu battery. Highly recommend!

I was sick and tired of the underperforming stock battery that would always go low during qso's. Purchased the BP-K75 and now the radio is as it should have been. I really do not use the belt clip, but I bought the clip spacer and that is also terrific. You need this battery.

Wow! this battery preforms excellent.
Had a little trouble fitting the battery to the radio at first but figured it out quickly!
I ran this radio all day, about 15 hours with the GPS and APRS functioning and it never went dead!

Got this for a th-d75 and works great, battery life extended from 6 hours up to 23 hours with aprs beacon at 1W/ 3 minutes intervat and one frequency at RX on the other VFO (air band). I am thinking of buying an ft5 just to buy the ft5 battery, for sure it will easely pass 24 hours of beaconing. Keep up the good job W0EAZ!
