Good Capacity---Finally for my FT3 power hog!
Though I'm not nuts about the orange one I got (only one available at the time) I have to say it is very useful. It still fits in the charger base though without the radio. I can also use the USB C connection which is a handy alternative. It seems to be very rugged with the 3d printed case very rugged. Good Piece of equipment!

I forgot to turn the radio off!
I was monitoring a couple of local repeaters and got distracted. The screen timed out and I went to bed. Halfway through the next day I went to turn it on and found it already on and the battery indicator as full. The old 1800 mha battery will die after a couple of hours. Cool beans!!!

Kenwood D75 battery
This is my 3rd battery from W0AEZ. I have them for my Yaesu FT70 and Ft5d also, and I love them! The D75 now last a full 24 hrs with moderate transmission times. I actually tested it from fully charged to dead and the results were fantastic. Total run time 33 hrs. and (50) 20 second key downs.

Great battery
Have used it quite a bit. Has a long life. My only concern is that the charge port gets pretty hot, while charging.

Makes the Kenwood useable off the charger. Defaults to low tx power on power cycle but is easy enough to change it.
