The Stock battery on the FT70D seem to have a very short life span. and keeping it on a charger was not an option. I discovered the 3.5 Ah battery which gives me 3 days of usage, and USB charging is a great plus and can be charged off the radio. I was concerned with a 3D printed case, but has proven to be very durable (function ove fashion) and fits perfectly with the radio. A very good value to make a good radio better. de KB3A

I love the Anytone radio. It works great for DMR but equally as well for analog. The menu is pretty easy to use and navigate.
I’m about to get rid of one of my 2m/440 rigs and use this in its place as the everyday use radio. I like it that much!!

I have found that the BP-Y14L battery charging cradle performs as advertised. I have purchased a second charging cradle and keep it in my go-bag when traveling.
Battery life is crazy good with this battery!
This is my second battery from Kevin, and I just want to say that the fit and finish of the new style battery are EXCELLENT. The modifications made from customer input are well done and it is apparent that Kevin listens to customer input. As a side note, I have tested both batteries (old and new case style) and both performed exactly the same. I got 27+ hours out of each battery with the FT5 in Scan mode on "heavy" usage with the volume at over 1/2!! I also got 22 hours of total battery time when running in scan mode, high volume AND transmitting 15 minutes of each hour (for 8 hours) on 5W (High power).
The case color match is excellent, and the Orange case is extremely visible at a distance. I teach SAR activities and usually use the Orange case as an example to my students about how things "disappear" in the desert landscape.
I would, without hesitation recommend this battery to anyone who has one of these radios. Considering that the factory Yaesu battery is basically the same price, I see no need to use the factory battery ever again. Lastly, the factory belt clip is a perfect fit onto this battery and for the extra space that this battery takes up, it is well worth changing from the factory battery.
Lastly, the radio stands solid when placed on a table and gives much more real estate to the bottom of the radio in case of accidental tip-over.
