All batteries are tested to be fully functional in my personal FT-5D.

While the charging module is upgraded, not all USB-C cables are created equally, and may not be compatible. If you run into charging issues, please try a different cable or charger. A USB-A to USB-C cable is nearly guaranteed to work.

Q. When will this be back in stock? A. I try to restock on a weekly basis. If you missed the current batch, I invite you to sign up for email notifications at the bottom of any page, or by clicking the 'CQ CQ CQ' on the bottom left of the screen.
Q. My battery is not charging. A. Try a different USB cord. Not all cords are created equally.
Q. The light is flashing, what does it mean? A. The board as detected an issue with the cord you are trying to use. Swap it out and try again.
Q. What do the lights mean? A. Two lights indicate charging. One indicates charged. Flashing indicates an error.
This battery is a gamechanger for the FT3d! Especially when running aprs it can be a battery hog. This allows you to run without having to charge all the time. Amazing!

This battery really does the job. I can apes all day and still talk for hours. Great product
I received my battery for my FT3D. Still on it's first charge and haven't used it much since I got the Kenwood D-75. So far, it's going strong. Having the bigger battery helps with the grip, especially with being a right handed person. I don't cover the microphone on the radio with my ring finger as easily compared to the original battery.
The fit is a bit tight, but no issues getting it installed. So far, I'm liking the larger battery. Much longer run time. Can't wait until hunting season is here because my FT3D is my go to HT for the field. With the larger battery, it should last all day maybe longer. I'm hoping for a battery for the Kenwood D-75, wink wink!!!
