Simple and robust, this desk cradle holds your BP-Y14L battery pack, and what ever radio might be attached to it. The cradle is designed in a way to avoid interfering with your HT for maximum compatibility.
It plugs into a standard USB-A wall wort with a 3ft cable.

The amount of planning, thought, engineering and pure dark magic that went into creating this is simply amazing. If you already have the battery back, this is the nicest way to re-charge it. Sit it on your workbench and let it charge away!
I have found that the BP-Y14L battery charging cradle performs as advertised. I have purchased a second charging cradle and keep it in my go-bag when traveling.
I first bought just the BP-Y14L battery which works really well and gives you much longer run time. The cradle works really well so my radio charges and sits upright. The radio fits well inside it and a, igns well, with the USB-C jack in the bottom. Great product and purchase!

Haven’t used it yet. Still waiting to buy a battery or two. However, I’m sure I will be happy. Sturdy 3D printed piece. Cord is easily replaceable if damaged.
