New Teammate, New 3D Printer: Faster Fulfillment & More Innovation at W0AEZ

Two big changes are coming to the shop:

  • A dedicated production specialist is now assembling our 3-D-printed goodies.

  • A brand-new 3-D printer is whirring beside our original workhorse.

Why add help and hardware now?

Demand for hand-built radio gear keeps climbing (a huge thank-you!). To keep pace without sacrificing quality, I brought in another pair of skilled hands and a second printer. Training side by side at the workbench already shows smoother batch flow, faster turnaround, and no more waiting for one printer to finish before the next run begins.

What customers can expect

  • Improved efficiency – Orders will move through the queue more swiftly, shaving valuable days off typical lead times. With two printers, our output for printed parts doubles.

  • More stable stock – Weekly batch cycles should keep the web-store shelves fuller so you can snag gear when you need it—not weeks later. My goal is to make “out of stock” a rarity.

  • Extra R & D bandwidth – With assembly in capable hands, I gain precious hours to prototype fresh products, fine-tune existing designs, and test-fly the ideas that have been waiting in the wings.

Same handcrafted standards

Speed is great, but not at the expense of reliability. Every pack still goes through multimeter checks, USB-C charge tests, and final-fit inspections. The difference you’ll see is a quicker shipping notification—and soon, some intriguing new SKUs on the site. It’s not about rushing; it’s about removing bottlenecks so quality gear gets to you faster.

Stay tuned

I’ll post milestone updates as we dial in the new workflow. In the meantime, thank you for powering our growth. Your feedback, encouragement, and on-air shout-outs make all this possible.

73 & happy operating,
