Dramatic improvement over stock batt

Very well designed and gives an amazing amount of run time for the FT5D. No issues after I figured out the charging light indicator. Red and blue both on means it’s charging. Red light on blue light off means fully charged.

Excellent addition to my HT kit

Really consistent usage time over the first few cycles, USB C charging makes travel with it a breeze (especially international) since all my other devices use USB C and a standard power brick.

My only request would be if we can get smaller capacity battery options similar to the stock pack from Yaesu to address circumstances where I can’t carry larger capacity packs with me. Otherwise, flawless, no notes, and delighted to support a HAM with products made in America.

Good so far!

I've had my FT-70D on for hours multiple times in the past couple weeks, and still don't have the first low battery indicator. The USB charging is a great benefit. I did find that the battery was a tight fit, but other than that, no problems. I definitely recommend it!
